Shop-drawing and CAM automation for metal fabrication
The problem
Customers texted photos, emailed rough computer sketches, described pieces over the phone, mostly hand-drawn; it cost the customer and the manufacturer excessive time and caused rework and overloads.
What RVG builds
- A geometrically accurate drawing surface, so what's submitted is always a buildable shape
- An always-visible dimensions table generated from the same geometry the drawing uses
- A one-click download of the bend sequence / CAM file the brake actually needs
- Consistent, re-run-able RFQs, instead of one-off hand sketches
How it works
The same drawing surface a customer uses to request a quote also generates the shop's machine output — the dimensions table and the downloadable CAM file are both computed from the exact geometry the customer drew, so there is nothing left to redraw or reinterpret on the shop floor.
